It was a glass of wine that made an impression on Dan, an impression that would move him away from his education of becoming an engineer to chasing the dream of working within the wine industry.

Dan has been in the Alcohol Beverage industry for over 3 decades. A colorful career that has included production, retail, sales, and marketing as well as the completion of the WSET Diploma. Dan has worked with many producers from around the world, bringing their finest to the Canadian consumers. Although his passion for wine is clear, his career also includes working with spirits, beer, and ready to drink.

Currently Dan is the Executive Vice President for Business Development at Select Wines, a proud Canadian owned company, where he is a partner. In addition, Dan also supports the industry, working with Drinks Ontario. Sitting as Chair for the Government Relations Committee, he is working closely with the Ministries of Finance, Attorney General, AGCO, and the LCBO.
